In vitro biomechanical processes simulation with NeoMag.
In this workshop we present NeoMag, a new generation of in vitro biomechanical processes simulation device.
SID/ Science & Innovation Districts, in collaboration with 60Nd, is organizing this workshop to present NeoMag, an innovative device designed to non-invasively reproduce mechanical stimuli in biological cells and tissues. The session will showcase the key advantages of this technology, with a particular focus on its potential to enhance biomedical research and drug discovery by anticipating therapeutic failures associated with mechanical factors that are often overlooked in conventional approaches.
The workshop will also feature real-world case studies in strategic areas such as cancer, neuroscience, cardiology, and regenerative medicine. In addition, it will provide a valuable opportunity to engage with companies and research centers from Barcelona health innovation ecosystem, fostering dialogue around potential synergies, collaboration opportunities, and technology transfer.
The workshop is aimed at:
- Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies interested in new R&D tools.
- Imaging platforms and laboratory equipment suppliers.
- Startups and corporations working with cell culture, tissue engineering, in vitro technology, etc.
- Biomedical research laboratories at universities and centers of excellence.
The workshop will be held exclusively on-site at the SID/ Barcelona and will last approximately one hour.
