Event Description

The 3rd Annual Lambda World will be held October 26th and October 27th in Cadiz, Spain.

This year, we have increased the capacity and expected more than 400 attendees to gather together for two days of talks, hacking, and networking. Our new venue is an impressive old tobacco factory called Palacio de Congresos in downtown Cádiz - the oldest continuously inhabited city in Western Europe.

We kick things off on Thursday, October 26th with Typelevel Unconference, and introductory workshops.

Friday, October 27th will feature two tracks of presentations by some of the most dynamic speakers in the FP community covering a variety of functional programming topics, including:

To conclude (until next year) what is sure to be an incredible two days, we're hosting a party at Castillo Santa Catalina which is an old castle in the middle of downtown Cádiz. Come on, who does not want to party at the castle?! We've got some great things planned for the event including the band we'll guarantee you get dancing, food trucks, and more beer than you'll know what to do with. Of course, there will be options for non-beer drinkers too. ;)
