Join us at the International Mental Health Nursing Leaders Summit in Barcelona, where global experts will gather to explore innovative strategies and collaboration in mental health care.
Participants will explore topics like education, leadership and service delivery guided by insights from key literature in the field.
This two-day event combines insightful discussions and networking opportunities, aiming to address pressing challenges in mental health nursing.
Day 1 (09:00 h– 18:45 h) offers a comprehensive programme with various sessions led by renowned leaders. Morning, afternoon and lunch refreshments will be provided.

Leaders will work towards the establishment of an international council of mental health nursing and discuss mental health nursing priorities related to topics such as:
- Intersectoral Integration
- Education & Development
- Workforce Expansion
- Human Rights, Ethics & Safe Environments
- Specialisation, Advanced Roles & Diverse Models of Care
- Diversity, equity & inclusion
- The role of technology and ‘AI’
- Climate change
- Self-harm and suicide prevention
- Transformative kindness
Together delegates will consider the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the mental health nursing profession.
Participation fees
- Early Bird (EXTENDED): €150 per person – available until 30 September (CET)
- General Admission: €200 per person – effective from1 October (CET)
Call for Exhibitors
We are pleased to offer a small number of exhibitor opportunities at the Leaders’ Summit. Each package includes one participant ticket and a dedicated exhibitor table for the full duration of the event (Friday, 21 November, 9:00 AM to Saturday, 22 November, 3:00 PM). The exhibitor fee is €300. Space is very limited, so if you are interested, please get in touch promptly with Gemma Tarradell at gemma.tarradell@rmit.edu.au.
Call for Posters
All registered participants of the Mental Health Nursing Leaders’ Summit are invited to submit a digital poster for display during the event. Posters should address one or more of the Summit’s 10 key topics, including: 1 Intersectoral Integration; 2: Education & Development; 3: Workforce Expansion; 4: Human Rights, Ethics & Safe Environments; 5: Specialisation, Advanced Roles & Diverse Models of Care; 6: Diversity, equity & inclusion; 7: The role of technology and ‘AI’; 8: Climate change; 9: Self-harm and suicide prevention; 10: Transformative kindness.
Posters are digital only, with no physical display or oral presentation. Submissions must be received by 15 October 2025 (EOB CET) in both formats, PDF and PowerPoint image (1080 × 1920 px) to be reproduced on vertical digital screens in slideshow mode. The selected contributions will be announced shortly after 1 November 2025.
