Biocat organizes every year the MOEBIO Short Programs: a series of lectures with top-notch experts to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare.
Embedded within d·HEALTH Barcelona, the program is aimed at expert professionals, entrepreneurs and students willing to learn more about the entire development process of medical devices and digital health solutions.
The Short Programs 2023 are divided in four lecture' packages:
- INTRODUCTION TO THE LIFE SCIENCES INDUSTRY
- UNDERSTANDING HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS
- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- MARKET ACCESS
COURSE FORMAT:
- Lectures are done either on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
- Schedule: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
- Modality: Online (Microsoft Teams)*
- Language: English
*The links for the session will be sent by email the morning before the lecture.
REGISTRATION FEES:
You can book either the full course, a whole package or just a single lecture. The prices for each modality are detailed below:
- Single session: 50 €
- Package 1 (5 lectures): 200€
- Package 2 (3 lectures): 100€
- Package 3 (4 lectures): 150€
- Package 4 (5 lectures): 200€
- Entire course (15 lectures): 650 €

About the organizer
Biocat is the organization that maximizes the economic and social impact of the life sciences and healthcare innovation ecosystem in Catalonia. It was created in 2006 by the Government of Catalonia and Barcelona City Council and its governing bodies include representatives from all areas and levels of the BioRegion of Catalonia: Administration, business (biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical technology, digital health and services), universities, hospitals, research centers and institutes, science parks and sector support organizations.
