About this event

This essential 3-day (18-hour) intensive workshop is designed to sharpen your skills and deepen your understanding of acting for film and television. This hands-on, practical training will give you the tools to elevate your on-camera performance and navigate a professional set with confidence.

Join Edward J. Bentley (3iS / Bigoli Studios) and David Phillips (Camera Op / DOP / Bigoli Studios) as they share their extensive professional experience on both sides of the camera. Alongside special guest writers and directors, each shoot day offers fresh insights and hands-on learning from industry professionals.

This intensive screen acting workshop is designed to help actors refine their performance for film and television. You’ll work on original scenes with new scene partners, receiving professional direction and feedback in a fully immersive studio environment.

The Team Behind the Workshop

Edward J. Bentley - an experienced actor, filmmaker, and acting coach with 25 years in the industry, Edward leads the sessions, coaching participants through on-camera exercises and refining their craft.

David Phillips - (Camera Op. / DOP) ensures a professional on-set experience, filming each scene and giving actors the chance to review and refine their performances in real-time.

Morgan Symes - offers a session on Alexander Technique, helping actors release tension, improve movement, and bring natural ease to their performances.

Tomislav Novakovic - a seasoned screenwriter and playwright—crafts original scripts, giving participants compelling material to work with throughout the workshop.

Together, this team creates a safe, immersive, hands-on experience designed to elevate your screen acting skills in a professional, supportive environment.

Places are limited to 10 atendees - first come, first served!

290 Euros per person. (Early bird discount available on eventbrite.com) To secure your place, you will need to pay 50 Euro deposit in the ticket link (Non-Refundable/Commitment) The remaining fee to be paid before or on the day of the workshop. We will send further details upon sign-up.

(Please note. This is an international workshop and will be entirely in English. Participants will need a fluent level of English and must be over 18 years of age)

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the workshop footage for my showreel?

Participants will receive access to the raw footage (unedited) of their scene-work. This is meant purely for your review and we encourage editing your scenes after the workshop. We do not, however recommend using this for your showreel. We will explain in more detail on the introduction day.

Will we be given scripted scenes to work on?

Yes, participants will be given original scenes in advance of the workshop, specifically written for film. We try to cast participants as best we can with appropriate scene partners.

Where does the workshop take place?

We have our own dedicated studio, fully equipped and just 5 minutes walk from Lesseps metro and Plaza Molina FGC.

What should we bring with us?

- A water bottle, loose fitting comfortable clothing, a small towel to rest your head on.

Is there a way of making food in the studio?

Yes, we have a microwave in the studio but there are various restaurants near by if you want to eat outside.
