Modern life is stressful. We all have a lot going on and can just about keep our acts together. William Shakespeare, the famous playwright, is no exception. His characters refuse to be part of his stories, and his editors keep pushing him to trim his masterful —yet slightly wordy— soliloquies. Will he be able to stay sane in this chaos? Will any of us?
After a tour de force premiere on their school stage, the Santo Ángel British School Drama Club is ready to bring this English-language performance to Lavapiés audiences. Do come and join us for this very special matinee of Shakespearean Problems written and performed by the club members themselves. We hope you enjoy it!

La vida moderna está repleta de estrés. Todos tenemos mucho que hacer y no podemos con más imprevistos, incluso si eres William Shakespeare, el famoso dramaturgo. Sus personajes se niegan a formar parte de sus historias y sus editores no le dejan en paz para que haga cambios en sus soliloquios inmortales —aunque es verdad que alguno se hace pesado—. ¿Será capaz de mantener la cordura en medio de este caos? ¿Y nosotros?
Tras un estreno espectacular en el escenario de su colegio, el Club de teatro del Santo Ángel British School está listo para traer esta obra en inglés al público de Lavapiés. Os invitamos a acompañarnos en esta función matinal tan especial de Shakespearean Problems. ¡Esperamos que os guste!
