The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation is organising the classical music concert "Spain in Concert", with the collaboration of the Embassy of Spain in Belgium.This event will include the participation of well-known Spanish cellist Asier Polo and the Brussels Chamber Orchestra (BCO) and will be closing the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.Asier Polo has worked with many of the major international orchestras, such as the Philharmonia Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionalle della RAI, Dresdner Philharmonie, Orchestre de Paris, BBC Philharmonic, Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Berliner Symphoniker, Orquesta Nacional de México, Orquestra Sinfônica de São Paulo, Louisiana Philharmonic, Orquesta Nacional de España and Basel Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of distinguished conductors such as John Axelrod Pinchas Steinberg, Christian Badea, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Claus Peter Flor, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Günther Herbig, Juanjo Mena, Antoni Wit and Anne Manson.The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation was created in 1991 by Yehudi Menuhin to fulfil his humanist dream of giving a voice to the voiceless. For more than 30 years, the Foundation has initiated socio-artistic projects for education, social inclusion, and artistic creation. Yehudi Menuhin's dream has been integrated into the foundations’ vision of encouraging art and creativity in education and personal development for a more open, inclusive, and harmonious society.
