China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition is hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government to promote global innovation exchange. Upholding the concept of “International Cooperation and Shared Innovation Opportunities,” it connects overseas innovation projects with China’s high-tech industries. The competition, held annually for eight years, includes eleven overseas divisions in cities such as Boston, London, Munich, Paris, Tokyo, Toronto, Sydney, Barcelona, Eindhoven, Zurich, and Singapore, covering seven industry tracks. With a total prize pool of RMB 8.84 million and up to RMB 750,000 per team, winning projects settling in Shenzhen may receive up to RMB 1 million in subsidies. A RMB 25 billion venture capital pool supports outstanding projects, while comprehensive services—from mentoring to policy support and industrial docking—facilitate global entrepreneurs’ seamless integration into Shenzhen’s innovation ecosystem.
