Refugees continue to arrive in Greece and Europe, yet the media often fails to address the underlying reasons why people are fleeing their countries. This walk offers an opportunity to gain insight into the situations in Syria, Afghanistan, and other regions, and to understand the harsh realities refugees face.
By participating in this experience, you will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by refugees and come to appreciate that none of us are immune to turbulent times. The refugees of today are escaping real danger, and by acknowledging their plight, we can begin to shift our attitudes toward them.
Please note that this experience may not be suitable for those who are easily overwhelmed. While no harm will come to you during the walk, it is important to understand the nature of the experience before booking.
