¿De dónde vienen las gemas? En este webinar se analizarán aspectos geológicos, gemológicos y comerciales que se relacionan con el origen de las gemas. Se tratará también el tema de la trazabilidad en el comercio de gemas, y su impacto en las comunidades mineras.

<h3>Acerca de la ponente</h3>Carmen García-Carballido (MSc., L. Geology, EurGeol, FGA, DGA, GIA AJP) es Geóloga, Gemóloga y Tasadora de Joyas. Licenciada en Geología (Univ. Oviedo, España), Master en Geología del Petróleo (Univ. Aberdeen, Escocia), Diplomada en Gemología y Diplomada en Diamantes (GEM-A, Asociación Gemológica de Gran Bretaña). Tasadora por ‘IRV’ (UK ‘Institute of Registered Valuers’) y asociada de AETA (Asociación Española de Tasadores de España). Fundadora de ‘Ethical Gemstones of the World’.
