About the workshop :

Workshop - Creative Tools: The Anatomy of "Kiff"

As an extension of our new choreographic creation, L’anatomie du kiff, we are offering a dance workshop centered on the artistic tools developed during the creative process.

Starting from the notion of pleasure —the kiff— this workshop explores how summoning joy allows for the emergence of embodied movement. This movement is rooted in each individual's identity, going far beyond a gesture that is simply copied, shown, or explained.

Using tools from contemporary dance, physical theater, and playback, the workshop offers research scenarios to activate presence, singularity, and movement quality. The goal is to bring forth an authentic momentum, fueled by personal pleasure and identity.

A bit more about Les Schini's :

LES SCHINI’S is a contemporary dance company strongly influenced by physical theatre.

Dancers and choreographers Mélodie Cecchini and Gaëtan Boschini combined their names—literally—to found the company LES SCHINI’S in 2017. Based in Bordeaux, France, they have developed their concept through stage creation, audiovisual work, and the transmission of their pedagogy.

Drawing on their past experiences as performers and the artistic and human network they have built over time, they create and take part in projects with both regional and European reach.

Workshop – Les eines de la creació: L’anatomia del "kiff"

Com a continuació de la nostra nova creació coreogràfica, L’anatomie du kiff, proposem un taller de dansa centrat en les eines artístiques desenvolupades en el cor del procés de creació.

A partir de la noció de plaer —el kiff—, aquest taller explora com el fet d'invocar el plaer permet fer emergir un moviment encarnat, ancorat en la identitat de cadascú, molt més enllà d'un gest copiat, mostrat o explicat.

A través d'eines derivades de la dansa contemporània, del teatre físic i del playback, el workshop proposa situacions de recerca que permeten activar la presència, la singularitat i la qualitat del moviment, amb l'objectiu de fer emergir un impuls autèntic, nodrit pel plaer i la identitat de cada persona.

LES SCHINI’S és una companyia de dansa contemporània fortament influenciada pel teatre físic.

Els ballarins i coreògrafs Mélodie Cecchini i Gaëtan Boschini van combinar —literalment— els seus noms per fundar la companyia LES SCHINI’S l’any 2017. Amb seu a Bordeus, França, han desenvolupat el seu concepte a través de la creació escènica, el treball audiovisual i la transmissió de la seva pedagogia.

A partir de les seves experiències prèvies com a intèrprets i de la xarxa artística i humana que han anat construint amb el temps, creen i participen en projectes d’abast tant regional com europeu.
