A bit more about Shawn Fitzgerald Ahern :
Shawn Fitzgerald Ahern is an American director and choreographer who emphasizes humanity in his work. Following seven years creating and performing full time in New York City with Pilobolus Dance Theatre, he moved to Belgium at the invitation of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, where he spent four years as lead performer and choreographic associate to both Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet.
Now based between Paris and Berlin, he engages as a freelance director and choreographer in diverse projects around the world, alongside continuing work with Jalet and Cherkaoui. Fitzgerald has contributed to more than thirty major productions across a wide range of platforms including three Grammy Award nominated dance films and two Academy Award winning major motion pictures.

Una mica més sobre Shawn Fitzgerald Ahern :
Shawn Fitzgerald Ahern és un director i coreògraf nord-americà que posa l’accent en la humanitat dins la seva obra. Després de set anys creant i actuant a temps complet a Nova York amb Pilobolus Dance Theatre, es va traslladar a Bèlgica a invitació de Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, on va passar quatre anys com a intèrpret principal i col·laborador coreogràfic tant de Cherkaoui com de Damien Jalet.
Actualment, establert entre París i Berlín, treballa com a director i coreògraf independent en diversos projectes arreu del món, alhora que continua col·laborant amb Jalet i Cherkaoui. Fitzgerald ha contribuït a més de trenta produccions importants en una àmplia varietat de formats, incloent-hi tres pel·lícules de dansa nominades als Premis Grammy i dues pel·lícules de gran format guanyadores dels Premis Òscar.
