West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) is proud to present a full month of events to commemorate Black History Month! Our theme is "Cut From A Different Cloth", where we embrace our legacy of resourcefulness and creativity with repurposed textiles.

In Solidarity with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation (the original inhabitants of the land WAWA stewards) and all indigenous nations, we are excited to host a week of events to bring awareness to the indigenous community & to move us beyond land acknowledgment.

A Partial Solar Eclipse is hitting Atlanta on April 8th from 1:30-4:30 PM. Register to join WAWA in this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Participants will be led by creative thinkers and poets in a workshop embracing how experiences in natural environments connect us to creative expressions, increased literacy skills, and a higher appreciation for the world around us.

Urban Forest Fest 2024 will be the 17th rendition of WAWA’s annual festival. UFF is a celebration festival of nature’s offerings with specialized activities & workshops throughout all the three locations of Atlanta Children’s Forest Network.
