Organisateur de Insect Pinning Classes at The Insect Asylum
We are thrilled to offer a wide range of services, attractions, classes, and events in our open and inclusive space. Our museum aims to cater to various audiences, from young children to passionate nature enthusiasts. Above all, we want it to be a welcoming place where anyone can come, explore, and stay awhile. As our space evolves, we will provide diverse classes and workshops for those seeking deeper engagement. Our activities encompass live animal exhibits, demonstrations by renowned artists, mindfulness experiences, yoga, paint nights, Burlesque shows, poetry readings, movie screenings, mythical photo shoots, and much more! We are committed to creating an inclusive environment, including sensory-friendly hours for individuals with autism and epilepsy to enjoy hands-on experiences.Drawing inspiration from my own upbringing in the New England woods, our primary goal is to bring a touch of the outdoors into our magical sanctuary within the city. We have an extensive collection of insects, taxidermy pieces, and sustainably sourced nature-inspired artworks spanning decades. Every item within our doors is ethically sourced or donated, preserving the rich history of our natural world.Being a self-funded nonprofit organization, we have limited resources as we develop our space. Your participation and support are crucial in our growth. Our showroom will continue to expand as we generate revenue. I personally invite anyone who is interested to come bug out with us on this exciting journey of exploration and discovery.- Nina Salem Founder/Artist
