Madrid: Winery visit & tasting - just 35 minutes from the centre

Just a short drive from Madrid city centre lies a host of vineyards that make up the denominación de origen of Madrid; a wine region split into four sub-zones, each with offering something unique in the wines being produced.

Even though the D.O. is relatively young, the winemaking practices and history of wine in this region go back centuries.

We offer you the chance to visit the sub-zone of San Martin de Valdeiglesias, in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos. We'll walk through the beautiful vineyards that look across the mountains. Enjoy this short experience where a qualified guide (also native English) accompanies you to a winery to teach you more about vine cycles and winemaking practices before concluding the visit with a tasting and snacks.
