MareNostrum visit 2017

From the IEEE Barcelona Student Branch we're organizing a visit to the supercomputer MareNostrum on October 13 at 16: 45-18. The event is free but for capacity reasons it's necessary to register. Although it is only being promoted among IEEE members, feel free to invite other people.

MareNostrum is the main supercomputer in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). It is the most powerful supercomputer in Spain. With the upgrade made this summer is currently the 13th in the world (last TOP500), and one of, if not the, most beautiful.

The visit, led by personnel from the center, lasts 30-60 minutes and consists of a video presentation of BSC and the supercomputer, followed by a tour of the facilities. It'll be held in english.

Remember to bring a valid ID with you!
