The Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50
The Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa was founded in 1929 to unite young adults and improve the local community. One of the first projects the Club was tasked with was selling bonds door to door to raise money for the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge.
For over 80 years the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa has raised millions of dollars to support a wide range of community projects and foundations. In 1975 the Club decided to focus their community efforts and created the Youth Benevolent Fund in order to provide funds to help disadvantaged youth in Santa Rosa. The Club works directly with charity programs such as the Santa Rosa Boys & Girls Cub, Kid Street Learning Center, and Children’s Village as well as hosts events such as Children's Shopping Spree that provides children with back to school clothes, school supplies and haircuts and Kid’s Christmas which provides a holiday meal and gifts to low income families.
The Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa currently organizes Battle of the Brews and Red White & Boom, two of the largest fundraising events in Santa Rosa, which alone have raised close to $1.5 Million over the last 15 years. As a certified 501c-3 all event proceeds are distributed through the Club’s Youth Benevolent Fund directly to qualified charitable organizations and no funds are ever used for Club administrative expenses.
