AMY SLEDGE, Executive Director

Born and reared in Chicago, Illinois, Amy Sledge brings experience, ability, and integrity to assist individuals with goal setting and leadership development, based upon Biblical principles. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Trinity International University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries and Psychology. She also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Christian College. She is presently pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Psychology at Colorado Theological Seminary.

As a product of the Church of God in Christ, Rev. Sledge has served in many capacities in the Women’s Department of Illinois First Jurisdiction (since 1983) and Illinois Third Jurisdiction (since 2001). She is presently the District Missionary of the Bishop Robert R. Sanders Memorial District and Head Adjutant Sister. In 2006, she established and is the Servant Leader of Prayer Works Ministries, Inc. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of Greater Works Kingdom Outreach, NFP (2016); and Shining Star Counseling Services, LTD (2017). Since 2007, Rev. Sledge has served at New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church of Ford Heights; she was ordained in 2015 and serves as an Associate Minister and Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. Her latest endeavor is her Gospel Talk Show, entitled “Let’s Talk About It”; designed to bring hope and healing to various relational subjects. Her ultimate goal is one of servitude, first to God and then to humanity.
