Sherree Sutton

I am Sherree a.k.a "She"...the creator/founder of She Is Me. I created The She Is Me Project in 2012; however, due to some life-altering events, the project was not launched until May 2014. She Is Me is a platform for girls and women. My intent was and is to focus on the issues and topics that are of interest/importance and impact the lives of females. As women, I believe we needed to take a look in the mirror to "see" that we are more alike than we are different. I honestly was tired of women finding the negative when observing and/or commenting about another female. The She Is Me Project serves as a mirror, as its contributors are women from all walks of life. Their perspectives, thoughts, and experiences are unique; however, there are other women who can relate. I am the mother to my only child, Kejuan, and grandmother to my precious little grandson, Miles. I am semi-retired and continue to practice as a realtor, licensed in the State of Connecticut. I am also a published author and novice actress. Volunteer work that serves my community is also very important to me.
