The Art Project

Welcome to The Art Project, Dunfermline’s creative café and the home of Doodle & Splat Ltd. Established in 2023, our vision is simple: to make art an everyday activity for all ages. Step inside and you’ll discover a warm, welcoming space where creativity and community come together. Whether you’re enjoying a barista-made coffee, a speciality tea, or one of our homemade treats, you can also explore our affordable craft menu designed to spark imagination. Alongside the café, we host a vibrant programme of workshops and events for adults, plus the much-loved Doodle & Splat children’s arts and crafts classes, where little ones can explore, create, and play.

Our space also features a curated art shop filled with materials and creative gifts, as well as a bright, inspiring studio available to hire—perfect for workshops, community groups, or private events. With free parking, excellent public transport links, and a wheelchair-friendly building (please note: toilets are not accessible), The Art Project is designed to be welcoming and practical. At its heart, we believe creativity should be accessible, affordable, and part of everyday life. Whether you’re here for coffee, crafts, a class, or simply some inspiration, you’ll always find a space that’s creative, inviting, and full of heart.
