The Ethics Project
For nearly 18 years The Ethics Project has designed and implemented youth leadership summits, workshops, townhall meetings, and other trainings to raise awarement of the impact of mass incarceration on our children, families, and communities. Our website, temporarily outdated, provides the most comprehensive list of Codes of Professional Ethics that pertain to lawyers and judges across the country. The National Youth Summit which was held annually from 2015 until the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020, brought together thousands of high school students to examine the school to prison pipeline, create models of discipline based on inherent strengths, develop innovative economic strategies not dependent upon mass incarceration, and strive for academic excellence.
During the pandemic we were the first organization to provide online learning by convening leaders from across the country in law enforcement, justice, health, mental health, education, and leadership. Additionally, we designed and hosted the Debate Centered Institute to teach teachers how to teach any subject using debate.
