Combined Voices in Praise

Join 200 voices in praise

The idea behind this concert came with the excitement of bringing many different voices together from across Ontario. Do you belong to a choir? Would you like to participate on your own and attend one or two mass rehearsals before the final concert? Would you like to join a choir that is practicing for this event? We are in the process of making this an event that many can participate in.

In the spring of 2019 the idea was formed and the choirs Te Deum Laudamus, Voice of Praise, and Chorus of Praise agreed that it would be good to perform in a massed choir concert. A steering committee was formed with John & Francine Van Iperen and Pete deBruin to make this idea turn into a reality. The concert selections have been chosen and the pieces will be made available to those who are participating.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions this concert was postponed. In 2022 the boards of, Te Deum Laudamus, Chorus of Praise and Voice of Praise were approached to see if they were still willing to host. Further the Guido Senior Band and Senior Choir were also approached to see if they would join. With the affirmative answers a steering committee was put together to get this concert in progress with the hopes of concerts in 2024. This committee consists of the following members: Albert Heemskerk, Jonathan Kingma, Annet Selles, Esther Van Egmond, and John and Francine Van Iperen
