Emma Randall, Mindful Eating Practitioner

Emma Randall is a psychology‑led Mindful Eating Practitioner (MSc Health Psychology, Dip NT) based in Lightwater, Surrey. She specialises in helping people to improve their eating habits and relationship with food through one‑to‑one sessions, talks, webinars and support groups.

With nearly twenty years’ experience, Emma supports individuals of all weights who struggle with emotional eating, binge eating, mindless eating or long‑standing diet cycles. Her work goes beyond food choices, exploring the deeper psychological, emotional and behavioural factors that shape how, why and when people eat.

Emma helps clients understand what food might symbolise for them- comfort, distraction, reward, connection, procrastination, relief from overwhelm, or simply a moment to pause in a busy life. Many of the people she works with have a strong inner critic, low self‑worth, difficult childhood experiences or a history of trauma, and she integrates these factors into her approach with sensitivity and care.

Her philosophy centres on the idea that improving your relationship with food begins with improving your relationship with yourself. She helps clients to move away from all‑or‑nothing thinking, food guilt and rigid diet rules, encouraging a flexible, 'middle‑way' approach to eating. Emma also teaches mindful eating strategies that increase enjoyment, presence and self‑awareness around food.

Emma’s work combines psychology, nutrition and behaviour change to help people break unhelpful patterns, understand their triggers, and build sustainable habits that support long‑term wellbeing- not just short‑term weight change.
