My name is Marta, I am from Barcelona and I am 27 years old.

I consider myself a nature enthusiast and I love being outdoors. That is the reason why I moved to the Swedish Lapland to work as a Northern lights guide and photographer during the winter season. Now that the winter is over, it's time to come back to Barcelona, but I want to keep connected to nature and encourage others to do the same.

Before moving to Sweden, I used to go to Montserrat almost every day. It felt like my safe space after my everyday routine, in which I used to feel out of place.

It’s where I lost the fear of exploring alone, where I could practice different types of photography, and where I found myself.

Everything was a source of inspiration there and I realized that apart from capturing sunsets I found it very interesting to capture the essence of the night once the sunset was gone. It’s the softness of the night that allowed me to appreciate the details, often hidden by the daytime noise. It was a therapy, and thanks to this profound introspection I finally embarked on new adventures; I probably wouldn't have moved to Sweden if weren't for this immersion in myself that made me take action.

We often ignore the voice of nature that surrounds us and forget our intrinsic bond with it. We forget our true essence. Thanks to the energy that envelops Montserrat, today I am closer to finding mine.
