Melbourne City Mission - ECIS

MCM Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS) supports young children and their families to participate in everyday life, build on their strengths, and work towards goals that are meaningful to them. Our transdisciplinary team includes occupational therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, social workers, child development specialists, and allied health assistants, working together through a Key Worker approach.

Our programs are family-centred, strengths-based, and focused on participation in the activities, relationships, and routines that matter most to children and their families. We offer individual supports, and therapy groups designed to create opportunities for connection, communication, learning, play, and belonging.

Our groups provide engaging, supportive environments where children can build confidence, develop skills through meaningful experiences, and connect with peers while having fun. Activities are adapted to support a range of communication styles, strengths, interests, and support needs.
