Raiser was founded by Luke Wilkinson and James Poulter to make fundraising less of a dark art and more of a straightforward, empowering process for small charities. Luke is a former charity CEO and experienced fundraising consultant who has raised millions for community causes. James brings decades of marketing, brand, and digital innovation experience, and is now leading the charge in applying AI ethically and practically for the third sector. Together, they are on a mission to equip the smallest organisations with the kind of tools and insights usually reserved for the biggest players—because small charities deserve better.
